Life never abandons what Love has begun. When our eyes can no longer follow its unfolding, faithfulness continues its gentle work in silence.

Every life is shaped by passages.

Some passages invite us to begin.

Others teach us to slow down, to walk without certainty, or to trust what cannot yet be understood.

Then there comes another passage…

One that quietly reveals the faithfulness of Life.

The Passage

There are seasons when our eyes no longer recognize the signs they once trusted.

Answers seem delayed.

Doors remain closed.

The days begin to resemble one another.

Silence gently settles where certainty once lived.

Then, almost unnoticed, a question rises within us:

Has Life forgotten me?

Perhaps not.

Perhaps it is our way of seeing that is quietly being transformed.

The trees never doubt their roots during winter.

Rivers continue to flow beneath the ice.

The stars remain beyond the clouds, even when hidden from our sight.

Life is no different.

It never abandons what it has begun.

Its faithfulness does not depend upon our ability to perceive it.

It continues its work with a patience far greater than our own.

Some transformations cannot be measured.

Some healings mature in a silence that gives no outward sign.

Like the wind, they move through us without asking to be noticed.

Only later, when we look back, do we begin to understand how profoundly they have changed us.

Sometimes we believe we are waiting for Life.

Then one day, with quiet wonder, we discover that Life was patiently waiting for us.

Waiting until our hearts had become spacious enough to receive what had been growing within us all along.

Faithfulness is not measured by visible movement.

It is revealed by a Presence that never ceases to love, to shape, and to accompany.

When everything seems still, nothing essential has stopped.

Life remains faithful.

Quietly.

Patiently.

Always.
