Marie-Dominique Rail (MariDo) is an author, Reiki Master, spiritual companion, contemplative pianist, and founder of MChef (2003–2022), whose work is devoted to healing, conscious transformation, and the sacred passages of life. Originally trained in French culinary arts, her path later evolved through healing arts, music, reflective writing, and contemplative practice. Marie-Dominique Rail is an author, Reiki Master, spiritual companion, contemplative pianist, composer, and founder of MChef (2003–2022), whose work is devoted to healing, emotional awareness, inner reconstruction, and conscious living.
Originally trained in French culinary arts, her multidisciplinary path weaves together reflective writing, contemplative practice, healing arts, music, and more than twenty-five years of international culinary experience across Montréal, Geneva, Milan, and Las Vegas.
Following the experience of cancer and a bone marrow transplant, her creative and spiritual journey deepened toward the often unseen dimensions of healing that continue long after survival. Through books, meditations, music, and contemplative reflections, Marie-Dominique accompanies individuals navigating grief, illness, recovery, emotional integration, spiritual awakening, and significant life transitions. Rooted in lived experience, compassionate presence, and emotional awareness, her approach creates spaces that encourage gentleness, grounding, resilience, reflection, and reconnection to oneself. Her growing body of work includes spiritual writings, healing-centered reflections, meditative piano compositions, and books devoted to grief support, emotional healing, post-recovery healing, and conscious transformation.
